Rosenthaler Straße 72A
More than just a coffee shop; St. Oberholz is the Mecca of all start-up co working spaces, the first of it's kind, and a Berlin institution. I've honestly never seen so many Mac books in my life.
Sure, everyone's gunna have their favourite, and this is mine. The lovely guys who work here always ask how you are, and the kebabs are made with fresh limes and Turkish cheese. Neukölln's finest!
The Bird Xberg
Kottbusser Damm 95
Let's face it, Berlin is flooded with burger joints, The Bird however brings something more, serious cuts of prime beef and succulent burgers. It's tasty. Try the napalm sauced wings, they are HOT!!
Yet another Neukölln hipster hangout full of MacBooks and beards? Kind of, but the fresh focaccia sandwiches and beautiful coffee totally make up for it.
La Pecora Nera
Forget pizza and check out the best authentic Italian food in Berlin at this cute restaurant in Neukolln. Expect rich flavours for cheap prices!
A gorgeous restaurant that is like a cozy yet cool mountain lodge, come here for the craft cocktails, calamaretti, slow cooked meats and people watching!
Come 2 Eat
Joachimstaler Straße 1
After today I can confirm that yes, Schnitzel Dürüms do exist and yes, you can get them here. It may not look like much but the prices are cheap and the spicy sauce is plentiful, don't be a stranger!
Now, being a Brit myself, I'm not really sure I agree with the above statement. But, when the heart yearns for a greasy portion of fish and chips and a pint of lager, all roads lead to East London.❤️
Hip little outdoor food fest. Come on an empty stomach cuz you'll want to order from every single truck here. Grab a spot on the boat for a drink & spectacular view of Oberbaum Bridge & Fernsehturn.
Very nice vegan fast food. They use local products and make a hell of a good avocado mayo (I strongly recommend it with chips).
Skalitzer Straße 36
Unbelievable ribs, an octopus/beef BBQ combo to die for...and bibimbaps that are sizzlingly scrumptious! This place is one of my faves, slightly pricey, but totally worth it! Definitely book a table!
There are endless Turkish restaurants to choose from in Kreuzberg but Hasir is somewhat of a local legend. Just as perfect for a quick bite at lunchtime as for a lengthy, boozy meal at night.
Hosteria del Monte Croce
Mittenwalder Straße 6
Forgive my friends terrifying facial expression. She really loves Italian. This place was mindblowing, eight courses of sheer decadence with as much red wine as you can sip. My new no.1 spot in town.
Great German food!
Allegedly run by Italian anarchists, this delicious pizza joint serves up delectable, uncomplicated genuine Italian fare. Get there early for a table and enjoy watching the locals hang at the canal!
Talk about bang for your buck, this little cafe not only has yummy food and decent portions - but is very very reasonably priced!! And literally around the corner from my house!! Win/win! :)
Fischerhütte am Schlachtensee
Everytime you desire a "special night" with your partner, you may find this restaurant as a top solution! Great food and excellent service deeply into the "german riviera" style!
Eissalon Tanne B
The only way to make the most of any last rays of sunshine we get in style is to grab a home made, from Eissalon TanneB. All treats sold here are organic and vegan and they pull it off without a hitch
By FAR the GREATEST pizza in town. The place is always packed, the service is horrible, BUT THOSE DAMN PIZZAS have me 100% hooked. This place is part of my weekly eating ritual!
I used to live in Oslo, and this snug café of the same name did not disappoint. Mid-century design interior, a corner to browse through vintage records and the staff even chose my coffee for me! Gøy!
