Sandmann HAD to be my first post. This cosy east-side Berlin bar hosts the Blue Mondays, an institution when it comes to jam sessions in the German capital. Friendly staff and reasonably priced beer!
Revaler Straße 99
Catch hot and up and coming bands at this Berlin venue staple. With a large but intimate stage, many bars and a great sound system this venue is a sure hit for a great live performance.
Static Shock Records
I got dragged here by some friends but I've learnt there's a little punk inside of all of us! Well worth checking out even if punk/ hardcore isn't your cup of tea. Oh, and bring ear plugs.
Get yourself inspired with the "Classics" on this well known concert hall! Designed by H.Scharoun, no need to say that you'll definetly feel the music experience melting your soul!
Oberbaumbrücke doesn't just connect the illustrious boroughs of Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain. It houses musicians, performers and has become a powerful symbol of a unified Berlin. Well worth a visit.
Grand ballroom style spaces with hip and alternative audiences. Superb selection at the bar with a range of fine wines, beer and cocktails. An awesome place to kick back and settle in for a show!
At 7,500 capacity this is hardly a hidden gem, but a few beers by the neighbouring Spree and a Libertines concert isn't a bad way to spend a Saturday!
Awesome old school wooden band room showcasing great punk, rock and alternative local and touring bands.
Unlike many other arena experiences, Tempodrom's Big Top-style seating areas give the best view of a range of acts from bands touring the world to musicals and one-off special seasonal performances.
