Cornersmith serves up fresh produce, delicately prepared and of a generous amount. I recommend the ploughman's plate :) Value for money and definitely worth a try if you're around the area.
The cupcakes at Vanilla Pod is great, as is all their food.
Guzman Y Gomez @ Uq
Surprisingly fast service as long as you're willing to brave the uni crowds and dodge the occasional backpack in the face. Nachos are always a good idea.

Enjoy the coffee at Campos.
The most popular spot on campus at QUT Kelvin Grove, Beadles is always buzzing with customers. Very reasonable prices, they make a bloody good coffee, and don't charge for lactose free/soy milk.

New found in annerly, amazing neighbourhood, coffee and massive breakfast.
Enoteca is my favourite. High end service from Italians who know their food and wine. The carpaccio, gnocchi & tiramisu are a MUST & take the sommelier's recommendation - you will not be disappointed.
The Myer Ctr
Be naughty and grab some sinful fast food.
If you love Japanese food you need to head to Ginga! The sushi is delicious and the pork buns are to die for. The gyoza are my personal favourite!
