Calle Honduras 4416
Being a Texan myself, it didn't take long for me to find this gem. And I wasn't disappointed. Melt in your mouth ribs and brisket plus crazy delicious honey beer made for one happy camper. Yumm.
Calle Thames 1801
Great great great coffee! Strong and well made. You can smell it as soon as you walk in. I love to keep finding good coffee in BA. They are definitely hard to come by. Try their arepas too!
Full City Coffee
Calle Thames 1535
Coffee in Argentina can be ok to downright awful. Having lived in SF for 10+ years made me damn picky about my cup of joe. This place has THE BEST coffee in town (believe me, I've searched for it).
Avenida Caseros 454
This incredibly cute restaurant makes healthy food delicious. Try the salmon or the mushroom burger, & since you were good, get one of their beautiful desserts, like a deep pear crisp with ice cream.
One of the most popular restaurants in the entire city, but the wait is worth it- the home style Armenian food comes in huge, delicious portions. Try lemony falafel, rich lamb, and plates of hummus.
Avenida Roque Saenz Peña 601
An all vegan 'fast-food' joint with two locations. Opt for the pastries- the whole wheat medialunas are a real treat
Buenos Aires Verde
The restaurant itself may not look like much but don't let appearances fool you. The food, prepared with fresh and organic ingredients, explodes with flavor in your mouth. Made with LOVE.
Avenida De Mayo 825
One of the oldest cafe in Buenos Aires. Such a great ambience and nice decor. Feels like going back in time. Love the delicious black forest cake and hot choco, ñam ñam!
Calle Estados Unidos 509
Buenas ondas at Wafles Sur... They have create-your-own waffles, what more can you ask for? My fave: Wafles con Nutella. YUM!
Good burger and great beer, such a perfect match. What else do you need? Come earlier so you can sit outside.
Los Inmortales Pizza
Calle Lavalle 746
Another favorite traditional pizza with nice traditional decor in town. Waiters are nice. Oh that super cheesy cheese is excelent!
Avenida De Mayo 825
Stop by the legend place and enjoy atmosphere in one of the ten most beautiful cafes in the world (UCityGuides)! Amazing place to enjoy a dinner with the evening's tango show!
Fukuro Noodle Bar
Calle Costa Rica 5541
Delicious steamed steamed buns, but the hoards of expats are here for the incredibly flavorful ramen and this place doesn't disappoint. Plus they have their own hot sauce and fernet-infused ice cream!
Fitz Roy 2109
There's a bunch of these all over the city, and whichever location you choose you'll for sure get good pizza. Thin crust and creative combinations. Also, empanadas, salads, pasta and beer.
Calle Florida 428
Who doesn't know Freddo...they have stores everywhere. My favorite ice cream ever! The dulce de leche flavor is just so good!
Another amazing place to feel a passion of tango with a dinner.
How to explain how freakin deliciously amazing these cakes are? Get'em online and delivered right to your door. To avoid the guilt just tell yourself you'll workout extra hard after chocolate bliss!
Calle Acevedo 401
An amazing and pretty authentic American style brunch- great pancakes and even bagels! A bright and cheerful neighborhood cafe.
Calle San Martin 899
I just had the best Facturas here. Ask for medialuna de manteca (butter sweet croissant) and you won't regret. Yeah, that good. They have 6 branches in downtown.
