Shakespeare And Sons
Warschauer Strasse 74
This place is a real gem for Anglophones. Superb range of new and used books, from rare classics to recent releases, in a gorgeous space with quirky furniture. And don't even start me on the bagels...
A weird and wonderful little bookshop; think Diagon Alley meets Kreuzberg. Odd looks from the owner but some great finds to be had, just picked up 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?' for €3.
I never get tired to show old bookshops and Berlin is full of them! This one has their bookcases until the roof! Between german or russian books it's truly amazing to discover these hidden places!
Pro qm is all about architecture, art and design with a pleasant atmosphere! Do not worry about the rush hour outside because this bookshop will keep you trapped for hours! Plus: open until 20h!
Wörther Straße 27
Saint George's is an English bookstore in Prenzlauer Berg where the staff really, really cares about you getting your reading material. They'll even make orders for you, or ship!
